Productivity is a major indicator of production possibilities of an economy. The basic objective of the producer is that, how to allocate the limited resources so that producer could get the maximum profit? Productivity of land is determined by the technological relationship between inputs and output. Higher production per unit is desired by the farmers/producers and also to feed the growing population. The application of farm inputs such as high yielding varieties of seeds, fertilizers, insecti

Traditions of yoga may be found across the world”s cultures, including the folk traditions of the Indus Valley Civilization and the Buddhist and Jain traditions. They can also be found in the Vedic and Upanishadic history, as well as the Buddhist and Jain traditions. The mystical traditions of South Asia also have a primal or pure Yoga. When Yoga was being practised directly under the tutelage of a Guru, its spiritual significance was given particular attention. As part of their Upasana practise

In rheumatoid arthritis (RA), an autoimmune disease that affects the joints, evidence suggests that Tregs are dysfunctional or reduced in number, contributing to the disease. Tregs are responsible for suppressing the activity of other immune cells, including T cells and B cells, which are involved in the i

In seed-borne fungus, the results showed suppressive of Fusarium spp. and Aspergillus. The majority of storage fungi that attack stored seeds have caused a drop in the germination rate. When seed-borne mycoflora are present in cumin seeds, transformation occurs, output is reduced, there is a bad smell, and the seeds become hydrolytically rancid.

Remote Sensing (RS) imageclassification has recently attracted great attention for its application in different tasks, including environmental monitoring, battlefield surveillance, and geospatial object detection. The best practices for these tasks often involve transfer learning from pre-trained Convolutional NeuralNetworks (CNNs). AcommonapproachintheliteratureisemployingCNNsforfeatureextraction, and subsequently train classifiers exploiting such features. In this paper, we propose the adoption of transfer learning by fine-tuning pre-trained CNNs for end-to-end aerial image classification. Our approach performs feature extraction from the fine-tuned neural networks and remote sensing image classification with a Support Vector Machine (SVM) model with linear and Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernels. To tune the learning rate hyperparameter, we employ a linear decay learning rate scheduler as well as cyclical learning rates. Moreover, in order to mitigate the overfitting problem of pre

Optimization Of Lubricant Nozzle Design for Effective Temperature Control in Machining Operations: An Experimental Study

In machining operations, proper temperature control is essential to prolong the tool's life, ensure good workpiece quality, and increase the general efficiency of machining processes. Lubrication plays an important role in the control of temperature because of the elimination of friction and dissipation of generated heat at the tool-workpiece interface. Nozzle design delivers lubricant into the cutting zone, which affects the efficiency of cooling. This experimental work investigates the effects of nozzle geometries with different shapes, namely circular, elliptical, and rectangular types, for lubricant nozzles on temperature reduction in machining. Based on constant machining parameters including cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut, this study will assess effectiveness of each one of them. The findings show that nozzle geometry has a significant impact on the regulation of temperature; rectangular nozzles proved to be the most effective in delivering optimal cooling performance, seconded by elliptical nozzles, and circular nozzles proved to have the least impact on reducing temperature.

This study investigates the thermal characteristics of helical grooved disc brakes to enhance heat dissipation, reduce thermal stress, and improve braking efficiency. Helical grooves machined into the rotor surface increase airflow, promote even heat distribution, and minimize brake fade. Finite element analysis (FEA) is conducted using ANSYS to evaluate stress distribution, temperature rise, and deformation across various materials. Comparative analysis of experimental and analytical results indicates that AISI 1213 exhibits the lowest von Mises stress, making it suitable for stress-sensitive applications, while AISI 1020 demonstrates high rigidity with minimal deformation. The findings highlight the effectiveness of helical grooved disc brakes in optimizing thermal and mechanical performance for high-performance and heavy-duty applications.

Multiculturalism in Kiran Desai’s The Inheritance of Loss

A multicultural society usually invokes cultural conflicts. People belonging to any culture, any community expects to be identified and survive in the entire human society. If some dominant culture pulls them back to insignificance, cultural conflicts arise. In Kiran Desai’s The Inheritance of Loss, almost problems are related in various ways. As is evident from a thorough reading of the novel, while globalization and colonization affect the cultural life of the Indian society of mid eighties, racism invokes terrorism and cultural conflicts. While globalization makes people multicultural, cultural conflicts pull them back to their roots. Though the story of the novel is set in post colonial human society, Desai’s characters become parts of today’s life. The study finds that, how much multicultural a man is, does not matter, but his identity is rooted in the culture he inherits without which he is a rootless person. He has to preserve his cultural heritage which he owns. This is an analytical research based on primary and secondary sources.

Leading educational psychologists address problems in adult development and learning in this book. "What Does Educational Psychology Know about Adult Learning and Development?" (M. Cecil Smith, Thomas Pourchot) is the introduction. "We Learn, Therefore We Develop" (Nira Granott) tackles the problem of distinguishing between learning and development. "Abstraction, the Will, the Self, and Modes of Learning in Adulthood" (Juan Pascual-Leone, Ronald R. Irwin) describes a process-analytic account of consciousness, cognition, and personal factors that interact to determine learning. "Extending Sociocultural Theory to Adult Learning" (Curtis Jay Bonk, Kyung A. Kim) proposes an extension of sociocultural theory based on Vygotsky's research and writing. "On the Development of Adult Metacognition" (Gregory Schraw) describes the development of metacognition in adulthood and its relationships to knowledge and intellectual abilities. "Changing Mind, Changing World" (Bruce Torff, Robert J. Sternberg) describes the role of practical intelligence and tacit knowledge in adult learning. "The Role of Adults' Beliefs about Knowledge in School, Work, and Everyday Life" (Marlene Schommer) considers the critical role of adults' epistemological beliefs in their school, work, and everyday lives. "Adult Intelligence" (Phillip L. Ackerman) presents a knowledge-based perspective of adult intellectual ability marked in its distinction from traditional views of intellectual functioning in adulthood. "Mnemonic Strategies for Adult Learners" (Russell N. Carney, Joel R. Levin) describes memory-enhancing techniques for those whose memory abilities may be affected by aging processes. "Adult Age Differences in Reading and Remembering Text and Using This Information to Make Decisions in Everyday Life" (Bonnie J.F. Meyer, Andrew P. Talbot) examines the interplay between various reading processes and adults' abilities to use the information they acquire from text across the life span.
