Relationship Between Language and Education Dr. Monika Rani, Assistant Professor, M.M. College of Education, Fatehabad, Haryana ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Language is essential to education because it facilitates communication, instruction, and cognitive growth. It has an impact on students' comprehension, critical thinking, and academic performance. Language policies are essential in determining educational fairness in multilingual cultures. According to many researches, early childhood education that is grounded in the mother tongue promotes improved cognitive development and conceptual understanding. Although it necessitates qualified educators, suitable resources, and encouraging regulations, multilingual education fosters cultural identification and inclusivity. Higher dropout rates result from academic challenges experienced by students who have trouble understanding the language of instruction. Education systems must encourage multilingual education, establish inclusive language policies, and provide teachers with the tools they need to handle linguistic variety in order to address this. Fostering fair, efficient, and culturally sensitive learning settings that support lifelong learning and social advancement requires an understanding of the close connection between language and education.

A Quest for Identity in the Novels of Leila Aboulela Mrs Sneha Swami, Research Scholar, Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Leila Aboulela is a British author of Sudanese origin, recognized for her insightful novels that delve into themes of identity, migration, faith, and cultural dislocation. Born in 1964 in Cairo and raised in Sudan, her subsequent relocation to the United Kingdom profoundly shaped her literary voice. Her narratives frequently highlight the challenges faced by Muslim women as they navigate life in Western contexts while remaining connected to their faith and cultural roots. Aboulela's first novel, The Translator (1999), received widespread acclaim for its exploration of love, spirituality, and cultural tensions. She further examined these themes in her subsequent works, including Minaret (2005), Lyrics Alley (2010), The Kindness of Enemies (2015), and Bird Summons (2019), skillfully intertwining historical and modern elements. Her writing is noted for its lyrical quality and a strong focus on religious faith as a source of resilience. Through her novels, Aboulela confronts stereotypes and offers a genuine portrayal of the experiences of Muslim women, establishing herself as a prominent figure in contemporary literature. In literature, the theme of women's identity crises is frequently examined by authors such as Virginia Woolf, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Sylvia Plath, and Simone de Beauvoir. Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own (1929) contends that the creative and intellectual capabilities of women are hindered by economic and social limitations. In a similar vein, Gilman’s The Yellow Wallpaper (1892) illustrates a woman's mental deterioration as she grapples with societal constraints. Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar (1963) explores a young woman's battle with mental health issues, societal gender roles, and career aspirations, highlighting the sense of suffocation that women often experience within a patriarchal framework.

Marketing mix is a combination of elements that the companies use to create a marketing strategy. The most common version of the marketing mix is the Four P’s Product, Price, Place and Promotion. The marketing mix thus includes the multiple areas of focus as a part of comprehensive marketing plan. The term often refers to a common classification that began as the Four P’s:- Product ,Price, Place and Promotion. Typically, successful marketers and businesses consider the four P’s when they create the marketing plan and strategies to effectively market to their target audience. So we can say that marketing mix is a tool or tactics used to promote a product or services in the market and to sell it successfully. Additional three new P’s were also added in the existing 4P’s Model to have a proper and thorough understanding of the marketing mix. The additional three P’s are People, Process and Physical Evidence. These are known as Service marketing mix. In the year 1990 the 4 P’s were tailored to the four C’s. In the competitive world the consumer is supreme and is the king of the market. Also the Modern marketing concept focus more on consumer satisfaction than on the business profis. A good Marketing mix results into excellent consumer service that leads to profit maximization and growth of a firm.

Inclusion of Experiential Learning Programme for Visually Impaired Students Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Research Scholar, Department of Education, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, Haryana ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
The paper is related with the inclusion of experiential learning in curriculum for special education teacher training courses and discusses that how experiential learning is effective in enhancing academic achievement, self-confidence, mastery over the content, self-management and quality of leadership in children with visual impairment. Experiential learning includes engaging the students in direct experience and is focused in developing knowledge, understanding, skill and co-operation. The approach of teaching in experiential classroom is different than traditional classroom. Experiential learning activities for normal children are helpful in learning through experiences, systematize their work, evaluating their own performance and furnish a suitable direction for long term learning. If we throw light on the chapter IV of RPWD there is a provision that government shall provide formal and non-formal vocational and skill training schemes and programmes of person with disability with sufficient support. As a result if experiential learning is included in teacher training courses for special education, than it may prove a potential tool for enhancing learning experiences of children with visual impairment. This paper proposes that experiential learning should be made a part of teacher training courses for teacher educators at D.Ed., B.Ed. and M.Ed. level. The possible benefits of inclusion of experiential learning would lead to enhance academic achievement of children with visual impairments and help them to retain material relatively for longer period of time.

Over the last half a century and particularly, in the recent decades, teaching learning has been undergoing drastic changes. There has been a shift towards student centered classrooms with teacher’s role more as facilitator of learning rather than an autocratic master. Unlike in the past when the teacher was entrusted with transferring the contents of curriculum to a passive audience of students, today new experiments are being tried out in the classroom that includes project based learning, development of thinking skills, and discovery learning approaches. As part of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) the textbooks have also been modified (in my opinion, to make them worse than before in many respects). Many teachers are not properly trained in implementing the concepts behind the new curriculum and many are not equipped to properly implement the curriculum.

Impact of Stress Level on Teacher Effectiveness in Education Dr. Naina, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, DPG Institute of Technology and Management, Gurugram | Ms. Aakriti Batra, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, DPG Institute of Technology and Management, Gurugram ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Despite the widespread recognition of teacher effectiveness as a crucial factor in achieving favorable student results, educators worldwide often endure chronic stress, which can impede their performance. This research looks at the multidimensional relationship between teacher stress and effectiveness. A systematic review of literature from 2000 to 2024 was carried out utilizing key educational and psychological databases. The studies were chosen for their focus on teacher stress (burnout, occupational stress, and acute stressors), teacher effectiveness (classroom management, instructional quality, and student engagement), and the mediating role of school climate and teacher well-being. According to the findings, increased stress levels—often caused by severe workloads, complex classroom dynamics, limited administrative support, and quick systemic changes (such as those induced by the COVID-19 pandemic)—are often connected with decreased teacher effectiveness. Stress appears to hinder classroom management, limit instructional clarity, and harm teacher-student interactions, all of which undermine student progress. However, some research shows weak or non-significant associations, implying that the impact of stress on effectiveness may be mitigated by individual resilience and external support networks. Mindfulness training, for example, has demonstrated potential in terms of stress reduction and classroom performance. The implications for policy, professional growth, and future research initiatives are explored.

Individuals residing in rural regions of India primarily derive their income from the agricultural sector. The effect on their life is significant. Census data from 2022 shows that 70% of India's farmers fall into the "small and marginal" category. Small and marginal farmers are given loans by banks and private moneylenders. The main objective of the inquiry is to identify the factors that cause these kinds of disasters to happen. The National Crime Record Bureau's secondary data is utilized in this descriptive analysis. A large number of farmer suicides are associated with widespread agricultural suffering in the nation, according to the results. An estimated 135,748 farmers in India committed suicide between 2010 and 2022. In 2022, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh had a significant number of farmer suicides due to debt or bankruptcy. Fasal Pradhan Bima Yojana, the largest government contribution to crop insurance, is a recent policy tool aimed at reducing farmer suicides in India. Farmers' suicide crisis cannot be handled by relief packages. Shifting policy focus from ‘corporates first’ to ‘farmers first’ can significantly reduce farmer suicides in India. Farm revival should be a priority for public policy through livelihood-enhancing and sustainable agriculture.

In history, conventional educational approaches mainly depended upon face to face communication between teachers and students, sometimes supported by tangible materials like books and chalkboards .With the advancement of technology, students having mobiles in their hands and pockets, the education has undergone a sea-change. It is well said, "Old habits die hard.", so is true for the educational methodologies. If it is true that nothing can replace a teacher, then the fact cannot be denied that the Black Board and Chalk and talk method is one of the most effective ways of teaching. This old method may get disappeared or may get a new, advanced and updated outlook, the answer lies in the womb of future. A student with competitive edge can explore new vistas of online coaching or online course at his own space sitting in his own room with just a click on the mouse away. The teachers during COVID-19 learnt that technology can surpass boundaries turning education system into an epicentre of a Global Village by fulfilling the dictum," Kar lo Duniya Muthi Mein" giving wings to the dreams of the future citizens of the country. Capacity Building of students and teachers took place during the adverse times of pandemic through MOODLE, MOOCS, KAHOOT, COURSERA, GOOGLE MEET, WEBEX etc. exposing both the communities to learning at one's own pace as well as teach by keeping in view the individuality of a learner. Therefore, the present research is an attempt to explore how the changing scenario has updated, modified and transformed the conventional as well as new methodologies of t

The Digital Renaissance: Literature, Language, and Media in the Age of Technology Dr. Monika, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
The digital age has fundamentally transformed literature, language, and media, giving rise to what can be referred to as a “Digital Renaissance”. This evolution has altered the methods by which we produce, consume, and interpret texts, as well as how language adapts to new technological contexts. Traditional literary forms now coexist with hypertext fiction, digital poetry, and interactive narratives, while social media and artificial intelligence exert significant influence on linguistic development. The convergence of media has obscured the distinctions between written, visual, and auditory storytelling, resulting in a dynamic multimodal communication ecosystem. This paper examines how digital platforms have democratized literary production, facilitating the emergence of new voices that transcend conventional publishing limitations. Furthermore, it discusses the challenges associated with digital communication, including diminishing attention spans, algorithm-driven content consumption, and linguistic homogenization. Additionally, the increasing role of artificial intelligence in the generation and analysis of texts prompts critical inquiries regarding authorship, originality, and creativity within the realm of literature.

Role of Literature, Language and Media in the Digital Age Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Associate Professor, JCD PG College of Education, Sirsa (Haryana) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
With the 21st-century technological revolution, the use of literature, language and media has been transformed beyond identification—particularly in a multicultural, multilingual country like India. The essay describes the pivotal position that these three pillars of literature, language and media hold in building identity, communication and education in the age of digital technology. With the linguistic and cultural diversity of India, literature begins new paths of growth through virtual media, offering more visibility to writers in local languages. Language, a unifying pillar and a dividing wall, is seeing new equations with digital communication, frequently treading thin lines between global English domination and the need to preserve native tongues. The media, more live and interactive, frames public opinion, facilitates education and promotes civic engagement - but also poses dangers like misinformation and polarization. The emphasis is on the convergence of these elements in education that facilitates citizens across the country and promotes inclusivity. The article infuses indigenous Indian perspectives on the educational role as an evolving factor reconciled with embedded notions of its potential in personal growth and national development. It also broaches issues such as digital inequality and linguistic inequality that still persist today and imagines a future where technology evolves heritage to educate India to be a more literate, empathetic and one nation.
